Today's race was exciting and very crowded. 37 total racers and you will likely not run a race on the track with that many competitors again. Good lesson why YOU need to count your laps. We had a few miscounts take place out there. Got to stay focused. Ask a veteran, it gets easier once you do it a few times.

First Place: Rebbeca Fields missing by 4 seconds

Second Place: Jaclyn Simmons missing by 18 seconds

Third Place: ShelbyBrown missing by 26 seconds

(Andrea tied for third place also missing by 26 seconds but demonstrating her selfless leadership style declined to force a tie breaker and graciously took fourth place!)

Boys

First Place: Mark Sowell missing by a mere 2 seconds

Second Place: Andy Tran missing by 7 seconds

Third Place: Alex Foote missing by 9 seconds

(Coach Martinez also missed by 9 seconds but declined to enforce a DQ of Alex for running without a shirt. Whatta guy!)
