Wow, Coach Martinez is Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year! What a great honor and evidence of all your hard work and success. You ladies did everything Coach M asked and more. There were ups and downs and you never gave up on yourselves or each other. You should all be extremely proud of yourself and your teammates. It all came down to your embracing UBUNTU and never giving up. When you all become coaches one day, you will be able to look back to this season for inspiration and an endless stream of stories. In the end, I am certain Coach M would be the first to say that he is, (coach of the year) because you are (awesome).
