I want some WATERMELON!

I am SOOOO pumped for our big race tomorrow! Back in 1984 (or 85 I forget which), I won the Fresno State Watermelon run. No, I did not cross the finish line first. Nor was I the top runner on the squad. I was just an ordinary runner who tried hard and laughed at all of K-mart's jokes. The reason I won is because the Watermelon Run is a prediction run. I missed my race time estimate by just 4 or 5 seconds and the glory was mine! So, you guys and gals who have never run a race before or those of you who have raced for years, everyone has an equal chance to bask in the glory of being the big winner of the Watermelon Run!

Just beware . . . . if you do win, part of the traditional victory celebration is a victory lap around the track . . . . . . carrying a watermelon over your head . . . . . . screaming I WON, I WON I WON!
